Simple Foreign Language Talking Dictionary

This project will introduce the Windows Media Player control to play wave (sound) and avi (video) files.
Do the following:
  • Choose four images of objects that will be on the form for your dictionary
  • Create three sound files for each of the four images on your screen. Each of these sound files contains the pronunciation of the name of the object in some language (can be a real or a make believe language).
    • Optionally, you can obtain sound files from the web and use these instead of recording your own WAV files.
  • Obtain a flag image to represent each of the three languages.
    • When the language option is selected, this flag image should be changed.
  • Use any video that you can obtain from the Web or you can use the Web cam to record a video capture of you saying something about yourself.
  • The about form should be shown when the About this Project button is pressed.  See "How to Show Multiple Forms in VB.Net"
  • This video will be played from the about form.
  • Below is a screen capture of the sample program that can be found here: Project 1 Demo. If the instructions are unclear, please refer to this sample program to answer your question.
