Visual Basic Programming for Humanities Applications I

Homework Procedures

Turning in the homework for each chapter consists of two parts:

  1. Certify that you have familiarized yourself with the chapter and study questions by submitting your Route-Y ID and any comments or questions you have on the main homework page that you reach from the syllabus.

  2. Turn in your entire solution folder for the program you are asked to modify or create

    1. When  you are done either creating or modifying your program, make sure and "Save All" (*Do NOT attempt to "Save As" because there are too many files to save and you are likely to end up with only a partial project)
    2. After you have saved, close Visual Studio and browse to the folder where your project is located.
    3. Open your FTP folder at ftp://vb.byu.edu and login with your CHum200 ID and class PIN
    4. Copy the entire folder with your project in it to your FTP folder either by using Copy-Paste or by simply dragging the folder to the FTP site

NOTE: You cannot open and/or execute code from the FTP site so if you try and test your project you must copy it back to a local disk before it will work.
